What are the check-in and check-out time?

Check-in time is 1:00pm and check-out time is 9:30 am each day.

What are the differences between the Superior and Club Deluxe room?

Superior rooms are conventional rooms filled with classical atmosphere, and found in double storey buildings. It comes in either a twin, triple and quad room type. Club Deluxe rooms are designed based on French style which offers a comfortable place to stay.It has fitted in a TV & mini cooler.

Do we need adaptors or transformers for our electrical devices?

If you are from Asians countries, adaptors or transformer are not needed but advisable to carry with you as some electrical voltage may differ. In Malaysia, the electricity runs on 240 volts with 50 Hz system.

Does resort provide water sport activities?

Limited activity such as kayaking and standup paddle is available due to Redang island is located in Marine Park. This is also to protect the marine life and safety of guest.

Is there any package arrangement?

How long will it take the Hotel to respond to my reservation request?

Within 2 working days. Kindly check your inbox mail or refer to junk / spam mail if failed to received.

How do I change or cancel my reservation?

Through telephone, fax or e-mail. Please specify your confirmation number or name according to the Reservation Form.

What is the cancellation policy on my reservation?

In case of cancellation, a written notice must be received and acknowledged by Kuala Lumpur Sales Office (KLSO) at least 21 days prior to the GIT/FIT scheduled arrival.

Once I have made my reservation, will I receive any confirmation from the Hotel?

Yes. We will e-mail the confirmation within 2 working days. Kindly check junk / spam mail to acknowledge if failed to receive.

How far ahead should I make the reservations?

As early as possible, at least 2 working days before arrival date. However, the date and room are subject to available upon request / confirm, based on first come first serve.

Does resort provide any arrangement for special occasion such as birthday, anniversary, etc.?

Yes. Pre-arrangement such as cake, room decoration, flowers, candle light dinner, etc. are available upon earlier request. It is chargeable.

Does resort provide any discount or refund on snorkeling trip?

The snorkeling trip is inclusive in the package but not compulsory to join.

There is no further discount or refund on snorkeling trip if you don’t want to join or the trip is cancelled due to sea and weather condition.

Can I request for refund with reasonable or if any unexpected happen?

All payment received is non-refundable and non-transferable.

HOW TO GET TO KUALA TERENGGANU FOR BOAT BOARDING?

There are basically 3 options: by airplane, bus or own transport. You can also drive on your own, details of road maps are available at here. (LINK)

Kuala Terengganu Airport / Bus Station transfer is available upon request. It is chargeable.

 

How long does it take ferry transfer between Shahbandar Jetty and Redang island?

It takes at least 1 hour 30 minutes depend on sea and weather condition.

What is the suggest flight timing to arrival at Kuala Terengganu Airport?

We suggest that your flight arrive latest at 8.00am to catch up the earliest ferry at 9.00am. Otherwise, we will arrange next ferry schedule at 10.30am or 3.00pm.

Does Resort provide any land transfer service?

Yes, we do provide the airport & bus station pick up service if you need us to pick you up from airport or bus station. A fee of RM 30 per person for return KT airport transfer and RM 20 per person for return KT Bus station transfer. Adult & child are same rate. 

 

 

 

How if ii stay overnight at KT Town Hotel, does Resort provide the pick up service from Hotel to Jetty ?

Yes, we do provide the pick up service from KT Town Hotel to Jetty. A fee of RM 10 per person, adult & child are same rate. 

At what time should we reach the Jetty to catch the boat on time?

Please make sure that you reach the jetty 1/2 hrs before . Register at our counter “K8 – Redang Beach Resort” first before boarding.

Ferry timing for in to Island and out from Island is?

We operate a scheduled ferry transfer service from Shahbandar Jetty, Kuala Terengganu to the resort everyday. Around 1.5 hours boat ride and will take you directly to Redang Beach Resort. Below are our ferry schedule

Ferry in to Island: 9am, 10.30am & 3pm 

Ferry out from Island: 7am, 11am & 12pm 

Daily ferry departure schedule subeject to change due to weather condition, our reservation team will confirm your ferry timing prior your arrival.

How is the payment policy ?

All reservation must be guaranteed with a NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE BOOKING FEES OF RM 100.00 PER PERSON in 07 days after confirmation received.

The Company requires full payment for each booking to be made to KLSO at least (21) days prior to arrival. 

 

Does the Resort provide any option on fishing tour?

Yes. Kindly contact our receptionist for details.

What activities are available at the Redang Beach Resort?

Our full time Activities personnel can arrange any island activity for you from their desk, located adjacent to our lobby. diving, snorkeling, canoeing, jungle trekking are all available nearby the resort.

What type of food is served at the Redang?

We serve local food mainly on Chinese cuisine. Vegetarian food is available upon earlier request.

Is the resort halal certified?

No. We are serving pork-free food menu.

Does travelers have to do the COVID-19 test prior to entering Redang Beach Resort?

Yes, all travelers need to purchase RTK Antigen kits by themselves. Test in front of our staff before boarding. It is recommended that travelers fast for at least one hour before the test.

Will you welcome only vaccinated guests?

Yes, as per the lastest governement guidelines, only fully vaccinated individuals will be able to stay at out resort. 

I am fully vaccinated, will my kids be allowed to travel with me regardless of their vaccination status?

Yes, according to the latest government guidelines, fully vaccinated families with kids under 12 years old (even if they are not vaccinated) can travel for a leisure holiday. Proof of the same residence may be required at check-in.

I am classified as “Casual Contact” prior to my trip. Will I be allowed to check-in?

Our enhanced safety protocol requires guests to be “Low Risk” during their stay. Unfortunately, you will need to reschedule your stay. Please contact us for assistance.

What is the weather like there -- what about hurricane season?

Malaysia has an equatorial climate with uniform temperatures throughout the year.

Is there any Internet access at the Resort?

Yes. We provide free WIFI in Lobby area only.

Does anyone in Malaysia speak English or any other language?

English is the common language used here. Our national language is Bahasa Malay. Malaysian commonly speaks Bahasa Malay, English, Mandarin, Tamil and Cantonese.

Do we need to change money before or upon arrival?

For your convenience, it is always advisable to change to local currency as all transactions in Malaysia will be in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).

What is the standard tipping practice in Malaysia?

There is no tipping practice in Malaysia. It is solely at your own discretion.

What should we bring along?

All guest is advised to bring along swimming costumes, beach towels, sunscreen which safe to coral reef, etc.
